Nathan "Nate" Ray Breeden

Nathan Ray Breeden, 34, of Evansville, IN passed away in his home Saturday, April 27, 2024. Nate was born in Evansville, IN on July 7, 1989 to Steven Ray Breeden and Recinda Kay (Green) Breeden.
Nate graduated from Harrison High School in 2008 where he was dearly loved by his fellow classmates. He took pride in being a student manager for the boys’ basketball team. After high school, Nathan worked 10 years at Walmart and several years at Lowes.
His true passion however was the Advocate work he did for the special needs community. He was a shining example of perseverance, never letting his disability (Williams Syndrome) slow him down. He coupled with ARC of Indiana to be an Advocate for the special needs community, as well as a motivational speaker and mentor. He will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Recinda Kay (Green) Breeden; grandparents, Eddie Lee, Nellie Mae (Creemens) Breeden, Albert Morris, and Sharon (Dearing) Green.
Nathan is survived by his father, Steven Breeden; brothers, Jake (Kelcey) Breeden, and Ben Breeden; as well as his beloved niece and nephews, Kylie, Nicholas, and Noah Breeden.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his father, Steven, to help offset Nathan's funeral expenses via Venmo - @koolman1299.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN officiated by Dr. Rev.Larry Lewis followed by burial in Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton, IN officiated by Donnie Breeden. Family and friends may visit on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
