On August 5, 1936, Bonnie Marie Butler was born to Alfred and Katherine Butler of Leipsic, Ohio. She was greeted in heaven by her parents, her brothers, Dallas Butler and David Butler, and her grandson David Alexander Costello. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Butler Summy, Barbara Dunstan, Kathy (Patrick) Mahoney, and Martha Butler; her children Ann (David) Richards, William Brotherton, and Nancy Costello; her grandchildren Nicole (Rodney) Decker, Adam (Monica) Richards, Lynda (Jeremiah) Thompson, and Alexander Costello; her great-grandchildren Grace, London, Emmett, Marshall, Jalynn, Serenitee, Jaxon, and Josie; and her great-great grandchildren Ka’Lecia, Key’Onni, and Anthony. Bonnie loved her family and her cats! She loved God and Jesus. She regretted many things in her life and found forgiveness in Jesus, her Lord and Savior. She was a long-time member of Crescent Avenue United Methodist Church. She loved working at Pro-Claim in Fort Wayne so much that she didn’t retire until she was 75! She loved meeting people, music, playing cards, and reading, but she really loved football! Her favorite quarterback was Peyton Manning. Bonnie loved all of these, and in return, she was loved and will be greatly missed!.
