Sharon K Park

Sharon K Park, 87, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024. She was born April 22, 1937 in Huntington, IN the daughter of the late Morris K. and Mary L. Sandlin. Sharon enjoyed flowers and tending to her garden, weekly Tuesday BINGO game with her husband Curtis and all of her friends at Golden Corral, reading, playing computer games and spending time at the lake. She loved Elvis and had an entire room dedicated to him, she was also known for making the world's best ham salad which was actually bologna salad, but when it's that good she could call it whatever she wanted to. Most of all the number one love of her life and the thing she enjoyed the most was spending time with her kids and grandkids. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Curtis Park; children, Teresa "Terri" Park, Keith "Allen" Park (wife-Shari), Carl Park (wife - Yvonne) and Deborah Park; sister, Phyllis Smutz; one grandson, Gavin Yates; six granddaughters, Kaylee Yates, Kayla Park, Carla Park, Holly Park, Tabitha Vachon and Brittney Vachon; and six great-grandchildren, Lilly Dugan, Selah Cupp, Ezekiel Cupp, Landon Windmiller, Zavier Windmiller and Oakley Vachon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Mary (Mote) Sandlin; daughter, Tamara (Park) Vachon; and 14 brothers and sisters. A visitation for Sharon will be held Friday, May 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 10, 2024 at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place in Highland Park Cemetery.
