Denton Lamar "Denny" Badman

Denton Lamar “Denny” Badman, age 88, of Snow Lake, Fremont, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024 at his home, with his family by his side. He was born on October 10, 1935 in Edgerton, Ohio to the late Thomas and Carrie (Long) Badman. Denny married Retha “Sam” Erwin on January 20, 1968 in Edgerton, Ohio. He was a brick mason and business man in Bryan, Ohio. He later worked part-time on the Indiana Toll Road at the convenience store. Survivors include his wife Retha “Sam” Badman, Snow Lake, Fremont, Indiana, children, Lorna (Jeff) Scheel of Ypsilanti, Michigan, and Tom (Kelley) Badman of Asheville, North Carolina, grandchildren, Joe Scheel, and Sophia Scheel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Carrie Badman, and siblings, Denver Badman and Marilyn Lundy. Denny enjoyed driving his corvette, and spending time at the lake with his family. Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Friday, May 17, 2024 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Pastor Bill Romans will officiate the service Burial will follow at Jamestown Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
