Rachel was born and raised in El Modena, California by Enrique Uribe and Helen (Moreno) Valencia. She made her home in Anaheim, California. She is survived by her daughter Denise De Leon Sanchez (Johnny), grandchildren Anthony De Leon (Bristin), Christian Sanchez, Brittany and Danny De Leon, great grandchildren Rowen and Ellison De Leon, and siblings, Virginia Vallin, Fred Valencia (Lenore) and Paulette Mata (Eddie). Waiting for her at the gates of heaven are her husband Daniel Jesus De Leon, son Anthony Silva De Leon and grandson Justin Michael Sanchez. She was a wife, mom, nana, sister, Nina-Tia, cousin and friend too many.
She was interviewed by Walt Disney himself for the newly opened Disneyland, and she worked there for 46 years. Throughout her life, she was passionate about her family, sewing-quilting, crossword puzzles, casinos, and her Anaheim Angels. After retirement she traveled across the US and her cruises were the favorite on her list.
Rachel’s independent, strong will, loyalty and passion for life was passed on to her family and will forever remain. She will be forever missed and loved. Rest in peace “Raca”.
