Dianne Synoground, 70, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born August 26, 1953 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to William and Loretta (Harp) Turner. She was a homemaker and past member of Mount Harmony Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Synoground; one son, Scott Synoground and wife, Ann of Greenwood; one daughter, Lori Ashely and husband, Cole of Van Buren; four brothers, Gary Turner and wife, Elizabeth of Lavaca, Lee Turner and wife, Faye of Eufaula, OK, Mike Turner of Eufaula and Jerry Morgan and wife, Donna of Fort Smith; one sister, Angela Parish and husband, Harold of Fort Smith; a brother-in-law, Leon Nichols of Houston, TX; four grandchildren, Brittany Synoground (Dustin), Whitney Cox (David), Caitlyn Ashley and Austin Ashley; four great grandchildren, Mayes and Sophia Balutis and Kendrick and Kayden Cox and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, William Turner and Loretta and Dale Morgan; a sister, Sue Neu, her brother, Kenny Turner and nephew, Toby Turner.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, May 9 at Grace Community Church in Fort Smith with burial at Dyer Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 7 p.m., where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Cliff James, Blain Gilliam, David Cox, Dustin Balutis, Ricky Bateman and Mac Rutherford.
