Catherine Justine Barham, 58, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024. She was born November 19, 1965 in Fort Smith, AR. She graduated from Southside High School in 1984. She worked in the medical field as a phlebotomist. She was a Christian and loved the Lord. She loved the outdoors and being on the water, whether it was being on the lake, at the ocean or just piddling in her flower beds.
She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Brian Barham of 35 years of marriage; nephew, Jannsen Wiley; her best little buddy and dog, Bailey Boy and her little sister and best friend, Torie Moore Luper. She always knew whatever she was doing she had her butterfly Torie with her.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Tyler and Shelby Barham; one grandson, River; one granddog, Vaughn all of Fort Smith, AR; her father, James and Terri Bailey of Greenwood, AR; four sisters, Jaime and David Higginbotham of St. Petersburg, FL, Jeanna and James Starkey of Lavaca, AR, Jennifer Geren of Bentonville, AR and Tara and Dane Burgess of Greenwood, AR and too many nieces and nephews to mention individually. Each and every one were dearly loved by her.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who had so much love to give to those around her.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 10 at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas. Viewing will be Thursday from 1–7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5–7 p.m.
