She grew up in Detroit, MI and graduated from Nativity High School in 1968. Barbara made many friends that she was still close to and seen often.
Barbara is survived by her siblings Jim (Anna) Harshell, Jane Ertzbischoff, Tom (Tina) Harshell.
One thing Barbara took pride in was that she was an Auntie, affectionately called “Auntie Bubba”
She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Shana (Zach), Shannon (Paul), Erin, Erik (Nicole) and Wesley and a Great Auntie to: Delaney, Jakob, Maddy, Hadley, Ireland, Jack, Brooke and Elise.
Barabara enjoyed watching the Tigers and Lions games but was still a Steelers fan at heart and twirled her Terrible Towel with pride. She enjoyed traveling back to Pennsylvania to visit with family especially her cousin Diane. She also enjoyed going shopping at Delallo’s and “Smelling the smells” she always wished she could bottle it and bring it back to Michigan with her.
At Barbara’s request there will no be a formal memorial service. She requested to be cremated and her ashes spread to her list of locations which will be honored by her family.
If anyone would like to honor Barbara’s memory, she asked that a donation be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
