Born in Antigua on October 30, 1972, Duane was the son of Genevieve and the late Elpert Winter. Predeceased by his grandparents, Mona Horseford, Gladys & Chalmers Winter, and father-in-law Albert Northcott.
Left to mourn are his forever love, wife Jenelle Winter, and continuing Duane’s legacy is his cherished son, Simon.
Duane was a beloved son, husband, father, loyal friend, advocate, and confidant. His infectious personality and smile affected everyone that he met. He was forever devoted to helping others, whether it was through random acts of kindness, offering wisdom, mentoring, or making connections. He will be remembered for his love of fitness and his commitment to the Black community.
He is survived by his beloved brothers, André (wife, Mikyla) Winter, Kirt (wife, Crystal) Winter; Ayedele (husband, Kem) Warner who was like a sister to him; mother in-law, Marie Northcott; brother in-law, Alden (Jill); sisters in-law, Vanessa (Stuart), and Glorina (Max). Also surviving are his nieces and nephews: Nathaniel, Marcus, Malcolm, Kimberlee, Kaylee, Aidan, Ryan, Jessica, Danny, along with his great nieces and nephews. In addition, he will be remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, godparents, and a large number of friends who were family to him.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words, and missed beyond measure.
