Brenda Staples Maust

Brenda Staples Maust of Virginia Beach passed away peacefully on May 5, 2024. Brenda was born in North Carolina but lived in Hampton for a majority of her life. Brenda graduated from Hampton High School where she was a cheerleader and developed a passion for dance. Brenda worked as a beautician for many years while raising her family with her beloved husband Ron. Brenda loved her four children and the many grandchildren she was blessed with who knew her as Mimi. Brenda was a strong and fierce woman who would never shy away from giving you her opinion with a smile while drinking the biggest Diet Pepsi she could find. She will be missed immeasurably and cherished always by her family. Brenda is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Maust and her daughter Tiffany Maust Caldwell. Brenda is survived by her daughter Nicole Maust Stuart and her husband Chris Stuart of Virginia Beach, her daughter Noel Maust Cavanaugh of Baltimore Maryland, and her son Brock Maust and his wife Meredith Maust of Newport News. Mimi is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Shelby Stuart, Chance Stuart, Brody Stuart, Cooper Stuart, Darby Stuart, Wren Lucy Cavanaugh, Ella Cavanaugh, Jasmin Caldwell, and Chase Caldwell.
