Barnstable, Massachusetts — Claude Domenichelli, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024, at the age of 77. Born in Barre, Vermont, Claude was a man of many accomplishments and passions.
Claude graduated from Suffolk University with a degree in Business Administration. His career spanned over four decades in the retail industry mainly with F.W. Woolworth, where he held positions from Assistant Store Manager to Executive President of the Eastern Division and made significant contributions to various companies. His dedication, leadership, and innovative thinking left a lasting impact on the retail world.
Outside of work, Claude had a zest for life. He was an avid collector of Lionel Trains, spending countless hours meticulously maintaining his prized collection. His love for travel took him to far-flung destinations, where he explored new cultures, tasted exotic cuisines, and created cherished memories with his family.
Beyond his professional achievements, Claude was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Domenichelli, who stood by his side through thick and thin, except when the Giants played the Patriots (2-0 Giants Superbowl Champions). Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared memories.
Claude’s legacy lives on through his sons, Dante and Anthony Domenichelli, and their families. His daughter-in-law, Shawna, and his grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, and Siena will forever cherish the moments they shared with him.
Claude Domenichelli’s life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and adventure. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main Street, Hyannis, MA 02601.Funeral mass will be Friday, May 17, 2024 1:00 PM held at Our Lady of Victory, 230 S Main St, Centerville, MA.
