Danny Alan Wilson Sr.

Danny Alan Wilson Sr. 73 of Indianapolis passed away May 9th 2024. Survived by wife, Rosetta Wilson; children, Danny Alan Wilson Jr. and Larry Wayne Wilson; brother, Robert Douglas Wilson Jr. and sister, Pamela Jo Wilson; grandchildren: Krysta Guernsey, Emily Guernsey, Ethan Wilson, Kayla Wilson and Steven Wilson; great- grandchildren: Liam Wilson, Noah Wilson, Ezra Guernsey and Daniel Wilson. Danny is preceded by father, Robert Douglas Wilson Sr., mother, Mary Virginia Wilson and daughter, Crystal Pauline Wilson-Reed. He was an airplane mechanic for the Air Force. After the military he worked two jobs until being hired at R.S.R. Quemetco, where he worked for 36 years and retired at age 62. Danny was a loving husband of 46 years. He loved traveling, going to the casinos, cars/trucks and bikes. He loved music; his favorite band was CCR (Creedence Clearwater Revival). Danny's mechanic skills lead him to work on many cars and meet all kinds of people, he was a friend to everyone even strangers; he loved joking around with friends. Danny and his best friend, Leo Tussy often helped people move; they also enjoyed working on everybody's car together. Danny attended the Church of God; he enjoyed being around everyone especially when he got to listen to his longtime high school friend, Bub Sparks preach the sermon. Danny was a strong, reliable, honest, hardworking man and he will be missed by many.
