Michael is survived by Carol Sue Noto, his wife of 48 years; his son, Daniel Noto; his daughter, Nancy Noto; his daughter-in-law, Rachel Noto; his granddaughter, Olivia Noto; his sisters, Lorraine Mannix and Andrea Paglieri and his brother, Frank Noto.
Michael was born in the St. Albans neighborhood of Queens, New York. At the age of 10, his family moved to Maywood, New Jersey. Michael graduated from Bergen Catholic High School. He then attended Rutgers University to earn both a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and an MBA. To further his education, he earned a Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law.
Michael used to always say “Everyone should change careers at 50.” And that’s what he did. After spending around 20 years practicing Corporate Bankruptcy Law, he moved into Medical Office Building Real Estate. He spent the next 20 years running the Property Management division of Welltower and then serving as Chief Strategy Officer at Rendina Companies.
The only thing Michael loved more than a good cigar, a well-aged Single Malt Scotch, his Golden Retrievers, and a round of golf, was his family. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 11:30am at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center located at 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, Florida 33458. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Michael’s name.
