Judy was born December 13, 1940, in Kansas City, Kansas to Leroy and Wilma Tracy. She grew up alongside her brother Don Tracy and her sister Nancy Bash. She attended Wyandotte High School and completed 2 years at Avila College. She was married to Charles L. Keltner for 38 years. Judi started working in the traffic and sales teams of KUDL, WDAF and WHB radio stations. She then worked in sales for Mid-Continent Liquor. She ended her working career as an office manager for the IT company, CGI.
Judi had many interests. Early in life she was on many golf and bowling leagues. She was an avid reader and loved planting flowers. She spent a lot of time playing Mahjong with her friends Chris and Sally. Judi really enjoyed socializing with friends and traveling. Judi loved to collect clown figures. Some of her main loves in life were the KC Chiefs and her animals, especially her dog, Roxy. Judi showed her love and compassion for her daughter Diana when she developed ALS. She moved in with her to care for her until she passed.
Judi loved life, people, and telling stories. Judi happily engaged with everyone she met and wanted to learn about their experiences in life. Whether talking about family, golf, bowling, or her life experiences, Judi always had a story to tell and lessons to teach.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Wilma Tracy and her daughter Diana Bradshaw. Judi is survived by brother, Don Tracy, sister Nancy Bash, sons, William J. and Perry W., grandsons, William "Billy" Bradshaw, (Erica) and Steven Ross Bradshaw, granddaughter, Jennifer Ferrer (Step). Great-grandchildren, Charles and Abby Hill and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Judith will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.
