Faissa B. Beliard, age 35, was born on July 8th, 1988 as the eldest daughter of Josée Klebert and Karl-Henry Beliard in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti. In addition to her immediate family, she was loved and raised by her aunts and uncles who found her to be a very vibrant, mysterious, and intelligent child.
In 2005, Faissa emigrated to the United States, where the expansion of love from her family here continued. Her love for family and friends was fierce and she was selfless in all aspects of life. She graduated from Rutgers University in 2013, with a bachelor’s degree in European Law and Politics.
Faissa was a student of life with an infinite curiosity for the finer things, including her exquisite culinary experiences.
The world was Faissa’s runway. She was never afraid to display her artistry through her fashion choices.
When it came to her love for dancing, Faissa was divinity in motion. The joy that emanated from each movement she made as she danced are memories that we will hold near and dear with deep reverence.
Glass ceilings did not exist for her in her decade long tenure as a multi-lingual human resources professional. Her legacy is everlasting amongst colleagues, peers, family, and friends alike and will live on in our hearts forever. She was a bright light in this world, and we shall always feel the warmth of her sunlight even on our darkest days.
Faissa was called home on May 7th , 2024 where she was reunited with her grandmother Mia, beloved aunt Gitane, and fur baby, Ava. She is survived by her parents Josée Klebert and Karl-Henry Beliard, brother Klarckensky Beliard, sister Keandra Beliard, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
