Born in Corydon, Indiana on Wednesday, March 13, 1963, Terry was the son of the lates’ Blanchard Sillings & Alice Wolfe. Terry, whose laughter could fill a room and whose heart overflowed with kindness, was a former healthcare worker & bartender. He held a zest for life that was as contagious as it was genuine. He could often be found enjoying the simplest things: the vibrant blooms in his garden, the company of loved ones, and the preparation of a delicious meal leaving friends and family with countless memories of laughter shared over delicious meals and outings.
But beyond that, Terry was the life of the party. His infectious sense of humor and playful spirit could brighten any day. Terry was a friend to all, with a heart of gold that shone through in everything he did. Terry leaves behind a life of love, laughter, and countless warm memories.
Besides his parents, Blanchard “Bill” & Alice Sillings; his husband, Steve D. Erwin; his brothers, Earl Wayne Sillings, Michael J. Sillings & Ronald Don Sillings; & infant sister, Mary Sillings, precede Terry in his passing.
Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, William Franklin Sillings, Rick L. (Janet) Sillings, Scott (Denise) Sillings & Kathy (Jerry) Hunter; sister – in – law, Cathy Sillings; several nieces and nephews; plus, a host of other relatives & friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gehlbach Memorial Chapel of Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home, 318 E. Chestnut St. in Corydon, Indiana. Private Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, where Terry will rest for eternity alongside his husband, Steve.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. also at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home, 318 E. Chestnut St. in Corydon, Indiana.
