Max grew up in New Jersey, playing baseball and causing trouble, before moving to Loveland in the early 70s. Max worked more than 30 years as a route supervisor for Wonder Bread and Oroweat, and was a proud Teamster.
Max raised three daughters in Loveland, and has played a large role in the lives of his grandchildren as well.
Through countless softball practices, baseball games, chess matches, friendly encounters with strangers, afternoon movies, ride-alongs in the bread truck, and oldies sing-alongs, Max inspired his family to follow baseball, eat ice cream, work hard, love music, use good table manners, and be kind to others.
Max is preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, and survived by his daughters, Megan (Kaitlin), Jade, and Kelly (Ashley), and his beloved grandchildren, Aidan, Alexis, Griffin Max, Greyson, Millie & Osborn.
The family would like to thank the staff of North Shore Health & Rehab for their kind care during Max’s last eight years.
An informal, open house remembrance and reception will be held Saturday, June 8th, from 3-5 pm, at Benson Sculpture Garden.
