Ali Riazatikesheh, affectionately called Baba by loved ones, gently departed from this world on May 11, 2024. He was surrounded by the unwavering devotion of his dear wife at their home in Rancho Santa Margarita, California.
Born on January 26, 1932, Baba's life was a testament to love, laughter and unwavering dedication to his family. He carried a firm commitment to the cause of Baha'u'llah, a strong work ethic, quick wit, and love for Persian poetry throughout his life. Baba held the pursuit of education in the highest regard, considering it the greatest legacy he could bestow upon his children, especially as he himself was not afforded such opportunities in youth. With immense sacrifice, he paved the way for his children to seek opportunities abroad, enduring nearly two decades apart before finally reuniting with both them and his cherished grandchildren.
The final years of Baba's life was spent enjoying the warmth and closeness of his family. His memory retained remarkable detail and would easily Persian poetry and songs. He often shared vibrant stories of the home he lovingly built in his native village of Kesheh, forever etching a portrait of his roots for those who would carry his legacy.
Baba leaves behind his beloved wife Molook, daughter Parvin (Payam) Fallah, sons Habib (Sanaz), Abbas and Hossain (Eva) and nine dear grandchildren.
Baba's memory will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 20, at El Toro Memorial Park in Lake Forest.
