Lisa Dohoney

Lisa Dawn Kahoe Dohoney, age 55, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. Lisa was born at Baptist Floyd in New Albany, Indiana to Donald Kahoe and the late Rosemary (Barcham) Kahoe. Lisa graduated at Floyd Central High School then received her BA in marketing at Indiana University Southeast. She worked as a director for several healthcare companies. Her passion to make a difference showed in every aspect of her life. Even when battling cancer, she thought of new ideas to make the world a better place. She loved tennis, running, and writing. She had a dream of becoming a New York Times bestselling author. She also loved to travel, especially if she got to go to the beach. However, what Lisa loved more than anything was talking about how proud she was of her daughter. Lisa is preceded in death by her mother, Rosemary. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Dohoney; her father, Donald (Carol) Kahoe; her brother, Brian Kahoe; her nephew, Parker and Thad Kahoe; and her niece, Brooklyn Kahoe. To know Lisa was to love her. She always filled the room with laughs and her smile was infectious. A Memorial Visitation in memory of Lisa will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana on Saturday, May 11th, 2024 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Kraft Funeral Service on Saturday, May 11th, 2024 at 2:00pm.
