He was born December 16, 1932 in Fayette County, WV, a son of the late Charles Coffman and Ada Belle Gwinn Coffman.
Clifford was a Korean War veteran. He retired from Dupont after 18 years of service. He met his wife Peggy at the Box factory, they enjoyed a rich and fulfilling 70 years together. Clifford was an avid outdoorsman. He found solace and joy in fishing. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Peggy Coffman; daughters, Kathy (Allen) Emrick of Washington, WV, Brenda (Larry) Hineline of North Carolina; brother, Darrell Coffman of Georgia; sister, Betty Mankins of West Virginia; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his eight brothers, and three sisters.
A graveside service will be 1 P.M. Thursday May 16, 2024 at Sunset Memory Gardens with Mike Kidd officiating. Burial will follow.
