Born November 18, 1942 in Parkersburg, Ronda was the daughter of the late Donald and Doris (Kieffer) Hart. She attended Fort Frye High School in Beverly, OH and later obtained her GED.
Ronda’s first marriage was to Ronald R. Snyder, Sr. She then married Gary “Bear” Whitten in Parkersburg. Sadly Bear proceeded her in death.
Ronda was a physical therapist assistant at Heartland of Marietta until her retirement. Ronda’s beautiful voice was heard by many as she loved to sing. She especially enjoyed singing to nursing home residence to make them smile and was asked numerous times to sing at the Sternwheel Festival in Parkersburg.
Ronda was a member of the Christ Mission Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed working with the elderly, drawing, baking, traveling, and most of all singing karaoke and spending time with family.
Ronda is survived by two living children, Ronald R., Jr. (Bonnie) Snyder of Monroe, MI and Ryan W. (Mary) Snyder of Parkersburg, WV, two step children. Debbie Whitten and Andy Whitten, twelve cherished grandchildren, 10 treasured great grandchildren, and eleven siblings, Donnie Hart, Marlene Boswell, Dale (Madelyn) Hart, Norma (Larry) McIntyre, Elton (Judy) Hart, Richard (Karen) Hart, Randell (Diane) Hart, Phillip Hart, Davy (Dixie) Hart, Elvis Hart, Jeff (Cindy) Hart, and Mark (Julie) Hart.
In addition to her parents and husband Bear, Ronda was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Hart and Gary Hart.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 1934 Dupont Rd., Parkersburg, WV 26101, from 12:00 noon until funeral services celebrating Ronda’s life at 2:00pm. Pastor Mark Watson will officiate.
