In loving memory of Susan Murray Hall, born on March 22, 1958, and passed away on May 11, 2024, after bravely battling multiple myeloma. Susan was a beloved daughter of Keith and the late Shirley Murray, a devoted mother, wife, aunt, friend, and the best grandmother.
Susan dedicated over 30 years of her life to ADP, where she made lasting friendships and contributions. Her true joy in life came from being a mother and grandmother. Affectionately known as Grammy Sue, she adored showering her grandchildren with love and spoiling them with affection.
Known for her warm hospitality, Susan loved hosting gatherings, dinners, and celebrations where she made everyone feel like family. Her passion for cooking knew no bounds, as she amassed a treasure trove of recipes that brought joy to all who tasted her creations. Her contagious smile and infectious laughter brightened every room she entered.
Susan was preceded in death by her beloved mother Shirley Murray and her husband Jim Odom. She is survived by her father Keith Murray, her brothers Kevin Murray (Yolanda) and Steve Murray (Laura), her children Andrea Oliver (Tim) and John Hall (Jessica), as well as bonus children Jamie Odom, Gregory Odom (Sarah), and Christopher Odom (Elizabeth).
Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren Clara, Weston, Maddison, Emma, Jack, Cason, Grace, and Sophia. Susan's presence will be dearly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. Despite friendly sibling banter, Andrea holds the title of favorite child, as she was cherished beyond measure by Susan.
A memorial service to celebrate Susan's life will be held at 3pm on June 8, 2024, at First United Methodist Church in Plano, 3160 E. Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75074.
Following the service, all are invited to a casual reception at Rooftop Event Spot, 1000 E. 14th Street, Suite 400, Plano, TX 75074, where dinner and drinks will be served to celebrate Susan's life and legacy.
Susan Murray Hall will forever be remembered for her love, laughter, and boundless generosity. May her spirit continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
