Wanda "Honey" Jean Taylor, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully departed from this world on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the age of 93. Born in the heart of Port Arthur, Texas, Honey's life was a testament to love, laughter, and a deep-rooted devotion to family.
Honey's legacy is carried on by those she held closest to her heart. She is survived by her beloved son Bobby Taylor and his wife VinceAnn; her daughter Cathy Ranka and husband James; and her daughter Vicky Wors. Additionally, she leaves behind her dear brother Larry Patin, her grandchildren Casey Tucker and Ethan Taylor, and her great-grandchildren Hayden Tucker, Grayson Tucker, Micayla Danna, Billy Tucker, and Christina Tucker, along with well loved nieces and nephews.
Honey was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd J. Patin and Lottie Reeves Patin, her brother Lloyd Patin Jr. and her son-in-law Jim Wors. Despite the passing of her loved ones, Honey's spirit remained steadfast, her memories a beacon of strength and inspiration for those who cherished her.
Honey was a woman of many passions, but none compared to her love for cooking, her unwavering faith, and her adoration for tending to her beloved flowers. Her kitchen was a haven of warmth and culinary delights, where she poured her heart and soul into every dish she prepared. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore countless churches, finding solace and joy in the embrace of diverse communities.
As we bid farewell to Honey, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to family. Though she may have departed from this earthly realm, her legacy will forever endure in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Celebration of Wanda's life will be at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home 4841 39th Street Port Arthur, TX 77642 on Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at 11:00 AM, Lunch will be provided.
