She was born in Minto North Dakota to Helen and Peter Narloch and has been predeceased by all her brothers and sisters, Jane Haley, Helen Kohlhardt, George Narloch, and Armond Narloch. She is also predeceased by her husband Paul Beauchemin and lived in Cromwell, Connecticut and Providence, Rhode Island. She leaves behind her daughter Lori Beauchemin Smith and son in law Robert Smith. There are many nieces and nephews that remember her sense of humor and shopping abilities. She was a Big Band enthusiast and was looking forward to new shoes for never ending dances in Heaven.
Lolly was a dedicated, compassionate and loving R.N. who graduated from St. Michaels School of Nursing in Grand Forks. She served in the United States Cadet Nurse Corps prior to moving to Connecticut to follow her career in mental health nursing. She met Paul while working at Connecticut Valley Hospital and also retired from industrial nursing with United Technologies Pratt and Whitney.
Moving to Southport NC she joined the “girls” in the golf cart, loved to watch the birds, and enjoyed the sailing group at the local wine establishment. She was adopted by many friends who became family along with all the god dogs. She loved boat rides and doing volunteer projects with her daughter for the local hospital. However, she always said going to lunch was her favorite thing.
She will take her last trip north and be with Paul again in Rhode Island. There will be private services at a later date.
She wanted to be sure that you knew she had excellent end of Lifecare with the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare and Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Foundation, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401-7335 or at LifeCareFoundation.org.
Rest in peace, Lolly. No more knocking on the window. Your work is complete here.
