Julia(Zsuzsi) , a feisty 95 year old went to join her beloved son and husband. She went peacefully and she was not alone as her daughter and daughter-in-law were there to hold her hand.
She is survived by her daughter Susan(Steve) and daughter-in-law Lynnea. Grandchildren Marcia(Kevin),Kristen(Cory), and Jesse. Great grandchildren Alex, Cody, Jordyn, Joshua, Nick, and Abi.
Julia(Zsuzsi) was born in Kis Pest. Hungary. Her mother, brother and sister were a tight knit loving family who survived hard times. Julia(Zsuzsi) met and married her husband (Fred) and had a daughter Susan(Zsuzsi) . During the uprising in Hungary in 1956 we escaped to Austria and after awhile to Vancouver, Canada.
Her first job was a dishwasher and worked up to waitress. She worked in Woodwards for many years eventually becoming a hostess. She loved her job.
She loved to get together with her Hungarian friends for parties, dinners and cards.
Julia(Zsuzsi) loved to travel back to Budapest to visit the rest of her family and made new friends as well. With her husband she also travelled to Hawaii, Reno and Las Vegas.
As a family Julia loved to go camping and go to the lakes on the weekends and in winter going for outings to the mountains.
In later life she had an addiction to puzzles and enjoyed them daily. Her daily wine, Chardonnay was a favorite. She enjoyed going on bus trips to the U.S. Casinos and making new friends.
JUlia(Zsuzsi) still enjoyed cooking her Hungarian meals and reading her Hungarian books.
She continued to do the traditional Hungarian Christmas Eve dinner with the family util a few years back when the kids/grandkids took over making the meal under her supervision.
To my dearest family and friends,
I just wanted to say,
An angel came and took my hand,
And led me on my way.
She brought me here to heaven,
To dwell with the Lord above,
Where there is no more pain or sorrow,
Only happiness, joy and love.
I did not want to leave you,
I did not want to go.
I love you all so dearly,
More than you’ll ever know.
I know your heart is aching,
And your eyes are filled with tears.
But God has been so good to me,
In my life of …. years.
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry,
The way you did today.
For no one born unto the earth,
Was ever meant to stay.
But don’t think of me as gone away,
We’re never far apart.
For every morning, noon, and night,
I’m right there in your heart.
The best advise that I could give?
Live each day as if your last.
You can’t change what you say or do,
Once they’re in the past.
Your time on earth is limited,
So be careful what you do.
Remember hugs and kisses,
Goodbyes and “I Love You”.
So now it’s time to say goodbye,
From Heaven far above.
But please always remember,
You have my eternal love.
And when it’s time for you to go,
Please do not be alarmed.
For I’ll be waiting patiently,
Right here, with open arms.
