Raylene is the daughter of the late Beverly Paul of Membertou and the late Ray Allen Sacobie of St. Mary’s First Nation.
Raylene had such a beautiful smile that radiated whenever you talked to her. Raylene was very kind and thoughtful to all she met. She had a big heart and would try to help anyone in need. She loved to gather with family and friends to just simply sit and talk, sometimes with another motive. She was also there if you needed a babysitter or a helping hand. Raylene was very proud of graduating from NSCC.
Left to mourn Raylene ‘s loss are her legal guardians Elizabeth and Ike Paul, her brothers Nakia “Helen” Paul, Travis Paul and Mike Gaudet, her sister Maxine Gaudet. She also leaves Amanda Christmas, Karina Matthews, Malori Paul and Leigha Christmas who grew up with her and were like sisters, and a large number of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends, God parents Frank Brooks and Valorie Brooks, godson Mythias Christmas and “mum mum” Debbie MacKay.
She is also survived by “nanny’s babies” Jenai, Sonny, Carlee and Jordee.
Raylene was predeceased by her brother Kenny Sacobie, as well as paternal grandparents on the Sacobie side and grandparents Viola and John W. Paul of Membertou and five aunts.
