Kathie Marie Kelley Noblin was born on August 27th, 1953 in Drumright, OK, the daughter of Jeff and Mamie (Watkins) Kelley. She was raised around five brothers and six sisters, Johnnie, JD, Ruthie, Patsy, Billy Joe, Maudie, Thelma, Judy, Jerry, Sharon and Michael. Kathie grew up in the Westville community and graduated from Westville High School. Upon finishing school, she started her family at a young age and later went to work at Franklin Electric as a machinist, where she worked for over 35 years. When she wasn’t working, you could find her spending time with the people she loved most in the world, which was her family. There were three children, Crystal, BJ, and Isabel, and she never tired of their activities and dreams. She would venture into the kitchen and turn out the most delicious coconut and chocolate crème pies, chocolate sheet cake, and her signature pinto beans with wilted lettuce, further proof of her love for them. If someone said shopping she answered “ready”! The spirit of adventure and exploring new places kept her exploring the world and she traveled to the Bahamas, Nassau, Cozumel, Key West, Mahogany Bay, Belize, Jamaica, Progreso, and Yucatan. She was sweet, loving, caring and went the extra mile to love those around her. Her heart belonged to her grand and great grandchildren, and she was their biggest fan! The love of her life was her beloved, JD Noblin, and they made their lives together a celebration, which turned into marriage on April 13th, 2024. They were members of Lightning Ridge Community Church, and they loved their church family as much as their own. No life is without its trials, and Kathie faced hers head on when she battled cancer. She kept her positive and happy attitude until her Lord and Savior whispered come home on May 10th, 2024 at her home in Westville, OK, surrounded by those that adored her. She was 70 years old and will be greatly missed for her love, her smile and her encouragement.
Kathie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Joel and Myrtle Kelley and John Watkins. She also joins her mother and father, and brothers, Johnnie, and JD, and sisters, Ruthie McGowan, Patsy Thompson, and Sharon Lay, and her brother-in-law, Bob Glass.
