Gerald Dean Orndorff

Gerald Dean "Charlie" Orndorff, age 88, of North Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024. He was born on January 5, 1936 to Clyde Orndorff and Eva Niccum Orndorff. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gay Lee; his parents; six brothers and three sisters. Charlie is survived by his sisters: Shirley Mills, Linda Powers and Iris Smith; several nieces and nephews; special friend Jimmy Dean; and friends; Sharon and Larry Vanlandingham. He served in the Army in Korea. He is a member of Post 104 for 50 years, Marine Corp, and the Murdock Club. Charlie owned Orndorff Trucking for many years. Visitation will be held Monday May 13, 2024, at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home from 1 PM to 3 PM. Funeral services will begin at 3 PM with Pastor Bob Roush officiating.
