Clara Mae Hudgins

Clara Mae Hudgins, a native of Clarksburg, West Virginia, was born on September 2, 1937. Clara lost her fight with double pneumonia on May 10, 2024 and passed peacefully surrounded by her family. A retired Banker of 42 years,Clara ran Banking Operations for Princess Anne Bank in Virginia Beach. Clara is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Kent T. Hudgins, Sr., and one of her beloved sons, Ronald Keith Hudgins. Among the surviving family is Clara’s first born, Kent T. Hudgins, Jr.; many nieces and nephews; and other loving family members. Clara was loving and guiding with her extended family. Clara’s viewing is Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 4pm to 6pm at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach. Clara’s Memorial Service will be Monday, May 20, 2024 at the funeral home. Her graveside service will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6309 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. in Norfolk. A Gathering after the services will be at Chick’s Oyster Bar, 2143 Vista Circle in Virginia Beach.
