Gracie Isabella Dempsey

It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of our beloved daughter, Gracie Isabella Dempsey, on August 22, 2026, at the young age of 22 years. She leaves behind her parents Lawrence and Judy Dempsey, her grandmother Sharon Chum, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Gracie loved life and she strived to be the best at whatever she set her mind to. She was a high achiever throughout school and carried on her strong achiever efforts post school.

She tried her hand at various types of work, but made her decision to work with her dad learning the business to eventually take the reigns.

Gracie enjoyed nature, photography, and travel and many other activities. Her love of animals saw many animals cross the door of her house, but she was limited to one (howling) cat, Silver, who misses her dearly.

A celebration of Gracie's life will be held on Saturday, September 19 at 1:00 pm at Kamloops Alliance Church (200 Leigh Rd, Kamloops). Reception will be held following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gracie's honor can be made to the Kamloops SPCA.
