Beloved husband of the late Yolanda Mitchell Galjour.
Loving step- father of George “Benny”, Steve and Fred Schenck and the late Gwen Caron and Richard Schenck.
Brother of Audrey Schroeder, Gaston and Melvin Galjour and the late Michael Galjour.
Son of the late Theoline Galjour Nash and Gaston Galjour.
Also survived by 15 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Galjour was a retired United States Marine Corps Veteran with 20 years of service, a Parishioner of St. Jane de Chantal Catholic Church, a member of St. Jane de Chantal Knights of Columbus Council 12529 and Padre Pio Assembly #2711 4th Degree Knights of Columbus in Abita Springs, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #8720, The Marine Corps Association, Dominican Laity, Militia Immaculata, Confraternity of Passion Holy Rosary, Opus Angeorium and will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Aged 86 years, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Abita Springs for the past 21 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from St. Jane de Chantal Catholic Church 72040 Maple St. Abita Springs, Louisiana on Tuesday morning January 18, 2011 at 9:30 a.m.
Interment in Biloxi National Cemetery 400 Veterans Ave. Biloxi, Mississippi 39531 at 12:30 p.m.
A visitation will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Monday evening January 17, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday at the church.
