She was preceded in death by her husband, Forest (Buck) M. Lane; daughter Vickie Ghoram; brothers, William (Bill), Kenny; sisters, Jewell and Fern.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Tom) Thompson, Toni (Dale) Bernards and Tina (Dave) Bernards along with 10 grandkids (spouses) and seven-plus great-grandkids. Brothers, Earl and Charles; and sister, Marti. With many nieces and nephews.
There will be visitation Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Howell Edwards Funeral Home from 12 – 2:30 pm. Cryptside Service will follow at Belcrest Memorial Park at 3pm. Arrangements by Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors.
God saw she was getting tired and the cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around her and whispered, “Come with Me.”
With tearful hearts we watched her fade away.
Although we loved her dearly, we could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
