Salvatore "Sam" Cutillo

It is with great sorrow that we

announce the passing of Salvatore

(Sam) Cutillo with his family by his

side, at Hamilton General Hospital

on Friday, July 13, 2012. Salvatore

was a loving and devoted husband

to Maria (nee Pongrac) for 54

wonderful years. Cherished father of

Clara and Nick Caruso, Louie, and

Rudy and Danielle. He was a proud

and adoring grandfather who will

be sadly missed by his much loved

granddaughters Simone and Victoria

Caruso, who held him so special in

their hearts. Dear son of late Luigi

and Maria Guiseppa. Dear brother

and brother-in-law of the late

Pasquale and Maria Cutillo, brother

of the late Maria Cutillo, the late

Giuseppe and Rosaria Cutillo, all of

Italy. Brother of the late Giovanni

and his surviving wife Lena Cutillo.

Treasured brother and best friend of

sister Margherita, and brother-inlaw

of the late Guido Iatomasi. Dear

brother of the late Leucio and his

surviving wife Michelina Cutillo.

Salvatore will be sadly missed by his

many nieces, nephews, relatives and

friends in Canada, USA, Italy, Croatia

and Australia. Salvatore had a great

passion for classical music, he was a

great tenor and loved to share his

knowledge of opera. He loved

history, telling stories, playing

piano, meeting friends in the mall,

and he especially enjoyed his wife’s

great cooking. The family would like

to thank Dr. Murty, the nurses and

supporting staff of 7 West at the

Hamilton General Hospital for all

their care and compassion. Special

thanks to all our family and friends

who have always shown their love

and support during this difficult
