Kimberley Hemminger

Kimberley acquired her A.S. degree in Criminal Justice which helped fulfill her dream of becoming a police officer with the Santa Paula Police Dept. Since age 19, Kimberley worked with the Ventura County Sherriff's Dept., the Ventura County Probation Dept. at Juvenile Hall and was a member of the Ventura County Mounted Enforcement Unit.

Among her many passions were her love of animals, an obsession for shoes, (especially designer shoes); horseback riding and photography. But, most of all she loved her family. Over the last 18 years Kimberley suffered the loss of her aunt Karen Gill, uncles: Ronnie Johnson and Bruce Johnson, grandparents: Ellen Hemminger, Shirley Johnson and Ordean Johnson. She now leaves behind her parents Wallace and Sharon Hemminger; brother Jason Hemminger (wife Katie), her babies: "Cammie" her dog and 'Scooby" her horse, many aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers and friends.

A memorial service, with full law enforcement honors, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday July 30th at the Church of Christ, 276 Santa Paula St. Santa Paula.
