Sandee was born on July 30, 1946, in Houston, Texas. She spent her formative years in Baytown Texas and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown.
Afterwards, she went to the University of Texas where she graduated with a B. A. She became a buyer for Joske’s and Oshman’s. This background in retail led her to teaching Marketing Education for 25 years at various high schools in Houston.
Throughout her career, she was known for her hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others. Upon retirement, she moved to Lakeway, Texas. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, gardening, Lakeway Women’s Club, and other creative endeavors. Sandee was always eager to share her enthusiasm and knowledge with others. Her early love of horses and horseback riding led to her love of the Southwest, including her fascination with the artist Georgia O’Keefe.
Through her extensive love of travel, she amassed an eclectic collection of fine art and treasured memorable objects.
Preceding her death were her parents, Ross and Nikki Head, brother Gary, and former husband Howell White. She is also survived by her longtime boyfriend Patrick Koen, love of her life and traveling companion.

A graveside service for Sandee will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral H, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749.
