Jo was raised in Bremond, Texas and attended St. Mary's Catholic School until the 8th grade. She was in banking at Bank of America where she worked for forty years. In her spare time, she enjoyed boating, going to the casino, swimming, yoga and having lunch with her dear friends. Most of all, she loved watching Fox News with her precious cat, Gracie.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a gentle and kind woman. She was always there to listen and support those she loved.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Antone and Rosie Majkszak; brothers, Louis, Bruno, Lige and Bill Majkszak; her sister, Antonette Koscielniak.
Jo is survived by her great niece, Jennifer Lytle and her husband, Chris of College Station; their children, Braday, Anna and Kiersten Lytle (they lovingly called her their "Grandma Jo"); her nephew, Gene Majkszak and his wife, Cindy of Spring along with numerous nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank her dear friends Syble, Charlotte and Mildred. Jo was surrounded by the best group of ladies that cared deeply for one another. Thank you for your friendship
