Hannah Neggie, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024, at Queens of Peace Residence. She was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments.
Hannah, born in Cork City, Ireland, was the daughter of Michael and Anna Myers. Cherished sister of Thomas Myers, Timothy Myers and the late Michael Myers and William Myers. She carried with her the spirit of her Irish heritage throughout her life, fostering a deep love for Irish music that brought joy to her heart and those around her.
Hannah was born to eternal life to join her beloved husband, Joseph Neggie, who passed away on January 31, 2024. Together, they shared 68 years of marriage filled with love, companionship, and devotion. Their legacy of love will continue as they rest together at Calverton National Cemetery.
Hannah will be deeply missed by her loving family. She was the cherished mother of Stephen (Joan) Neggie, Joseph (Maureen) Neggie, Celia (Joe) Percivalle, Timothy (Kathy) Neggie, Mary Neggie, James (Sandra) Neggie, and the late Anne Reed, and the late Michael (survived by Grace) Neggie. Her presence brought joy and warmth to the lives of her 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and offer condolences on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frederick Funeral Home, located at 192-15 Northern Blvd., Flushing, NY 11358. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Aiden's RC Church, located at 505 Willis Avenue, Williston Park, NY 11596. Following the Mass, Hannah will be laid to rest at Calverton National Cemetery, located at 210 Princeton Blvd., Calverton, NY 11792.

An interment will occur Monday, May 6, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Calverton National Cemetery, Wading River, Wading River, NY 11792.
