She is now reunited in Heaven with parents Herbert Lyle and Verna Pattison; siblings Juanita Pattison and Larry Pattison; in-laws Howard Burr and Bessie Myrtle (Teall) Hodges, Dorothy Hodges, Helen and Russ Winsemius; son, Rodney Ray; and daughter, Cynthia Lynn, and they are all free from the bonds of pain.
Mourning her departure are sister-in-law, Sharon Pattison; brother-in-law, Jerry (Dede) Hodges; sister-in-law, Sharon McMann; daughter, Jill Renee Middendorf; son, Eric Paul Hodges; daughter-in-law, Joanna Lynn Hodges; grandchildren Alissa and Jordan Green, Karah Middendorf and Alex Cook, Derek Hodges and Ally Peters, Trevor Hodges and Mirage DeLing, and Kaitlyn Hodges, Heather Hodges and Kyle Hemmes; and great-grandchildren Liam and Harper Morrison and Amelia Green; dog, Lincoln “Buddy”; and longtime caregiver, Cassandra Delfsma.
Yvonne was born in Muskegon, Michigan. She graduated from Muskegon Heights High School in 1951. She taught at both Central and West Elementary in Grandville. She retired from teaching in 1992. Yvonne and Ron enjoyed traveling in their Ultra Van. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
There will be a public visitation from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2024 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI. A funeral service and celebration of her life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), with visitation one hour prior to service. A private family graveside service will take place at Mona View Cemetery in Muskegon.
