

Erich is survived by his children Christopher, Valerie (Grant) and Paul (Jennifer), his grandchildren Leigh-Ann, Sean, Ryan and Brendan, his sister Marlene, his brother-in-law Ted (Bev), his sisters-inlaw Marlene (George) and Carel (Mike) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by Margaret his loving wife of 62 years.
Erich is also survived by life long friend Loretta Schwartz who was predeceased by her husband Ken Schwartz. Erich and Ken were close friends since childhood.
Erich was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan on January 2, 1933 and raised on a farm in a rural area near Rhein, Saskatchewan. Erich took up teaching as his profession. On December 28, 1959 Erich married Margaret and they eventually settled in Vernon, British Columbia to raise a family.
Erich was a handyman who did his projects to very high standards whether it was digging a trench or painting a wall. Both Erich and Margaret loved traveling together. Their most memorable trip was across Canada in their recreational vehicle. They also enjoyed numerous cruises and casino bus trips.
There will be no service at this time.
