Eva Slobodzian

February 15, 1933 - December 7, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eva SLOBODZIAN at Kelowna General Hospital in the early morning hours of December 7th. Eva was born in Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan on Feb 15th, 1933 and initially attended school in Bobney, Saskatchewan. She spent several years working in Meadow Lake prior to marrying her husband John and moving to John’s farm west of Meadow Lake. The two worked very hard and were successful farmers. They eventually sold their mixed farm and retired to Paradise Hill for a few years where Eva’s brothers were farming and her parents were living. Several years later they moved to the Rutland area and eventually to the lower Mission.

Eva was predeceased by her parents, husband John, brothers Sergy and Bill. She is survived by her sister Anne, two nieces, two nephews and Dorothy her sister-in-law. She wanted to extend a special thanks to all her friends and neighbors for their help and kindness.

A very special thanks to Dr. M. BOBYN for his exceptional care over the many years as well as to the staff and Doctors on 2 South at Kelowna General Hospital.
