He is survived by his son Ralf and his daughter Karin. He is also survived by one great grandchild, Oscar and two grandchildren, Nathan and Tanika.
Paul and his wife Anne immigrated to Canada in April 1957. Initially they lived in the B.C. Interior and then soon moved to Fort St. John. Paul, a watchmaker and Anne, an administrative manager and homemaker, raised a family and established a successful jewellery and timepiece retail business there.
In 1980 they moved to Kelowna, which had always been their dream.
Paul enjoyed spending time reading, informing himself about world events, afternoon coffee with cake/biscuits, satellite technology and generally tinkering with electronic gadgets.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be held this Thursday, February 22nd at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
