June 14 1969- Sept 25 2021
It is with very deep heartfelt sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our brother, "Fun uncle Bob" and a good friend to many.
Bob was born on a night the Aurora Borealis ran wild and free which fit Bob's colorful personality. He was raised in the Kootenays before moving to Kelowna where he completed school and grew his interest for photography and expanded his curiosity for creating unique art.
Bob worked hard and played hard.He enjoyed all types of adventures including travelling, camping, astronomy and biking around the city where he was always ready to whip out his camera at a moments notice to get that beautiful shot.
Bob was a talented photographer, winning many awards and showcasing his amazing prints around the city or helping on film sets. Bob belonged to many different clubs and organizations and in doing so has made a lot of different friends which he cherished. Bob always found new adventures to go on; whether it was uncharted hiking trails, sky diving, scuba diving or booting around on a scooter in Mexico. Ever curious about life and the unknown and loyal to his friends; he revelled in learning new things on his expeditions and the retelling of his escapades. Bob has touched many lives on his short time on Earth but his greatest adventure has begun.
Predeceased by his parents, Larry and Nina Verigin and both his grandparents. Bob is survived by his sister Lana Verigin and brother Kelly Verigin and deeply remembered by his aunts/uncles and cousins.
A big thank you to his friends that were with him during his passing. Bob left us far too soon and with a empty hole with his passing which we will fill with his memories, stories, advice, and laughter.
Deeply missed and forever remembered- Rest in peace big brother
