Theophilus Nde Achua, 60, of Little Rock passed away July 8, 2025. He was born September 5, 1964 in Banjah, Bamenda, the North West Province of Cameroon to the late Pa Ben Achua and mama Lydia Anyang Achua. In addition to his parents, Theophilus was preceded in death by his brother, Abenego Achua.
Theo had a gift for technology. Years ago before internet calling (like WhasApp) was ubiquitous, Theo was an expert in the area. He built voice networks for several large companies. He learned so fast; passing many difficult technical certifications just by reading the book. He was a technology geek and always had to have the latest and greatest device.
He was a master scriptorian of the Bible and could answer any question from his own memory. He had a strong spiritual presence and warmth and his outreach helped many in despair. He was an adventurer and was always up for a new one. He loved traveling even in a wheelchair.
Most of all he was a wonderful listener and comfort to his family and friends--exuding sweet love and acceptance.
Those left to cherish the memories of Theophilus include his wife, Lisa Achua; daughter, Natalie Achua; and siblings, Grace Ngefor Achua, Esther Kien Achua, Solomon Ntari Achua, Mary Ngweben Achua, Winifred Sirri Achua, Miranda Ngum Achua, and Gema Ngenwi Achua.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 14, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in North Little Rock, with graveside services beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle.
