

On June 6, 2026, John Francis Brendan Mulqueen passed away. John is the beloved husband of Catherine Fitzgerald Mulqueen; devoted father of Joseph Mulqueen (Theresa), Theresa Robinson (Eric), John Mulqueen (Dawn), Michael Mulqueen (Jill), and Matthew Mulqueen (Lucy); loving grandfather of Ryan, Casey, Kayla, Andrew, Val, Colin, Elijah, Otis, Etta, Harley, Joseph, and Thomas; great-grandfather of Freya and Nico; dear brother of Bill Mulqueen (Anne) and the late Joseph, Mary, Eileen, Deborah, and Dorothy. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, loving family and friends. John was a member of the Emerald Isle Club, American Legion Post # 130, St. Dominic Church in Hamilton and was a retired Pressman for the Baltimore Sun.
Relatives and friends will gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham MD 21236, on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church (Hydes), 13305 Long Green Pike., Hydes MD 21082, on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. John the Evangelist Church Cemetery.
