William G. Serrano, age 99, passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home on Friday, April 26, 2024 surrounded by family after a century of loving life. William known as Bill and Memo, to his friends and family, worked at Celotex. Memo and Lupe were longtime parishioners of St. Edwards Church in Chillicothe. He enjoyed traveling with his family to Mexico annually during the winter months enjoying the sunshine and time with those he loved. Memo was known for always working hard to provide for his family. He could be found around town riding his bike, taking laps around the high school and hitting golf balls. Memo was a huge fan of westerns and action movies. If it had Clint Eastwood or Charles Bronson he had seen it. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and celebrating their milestones. And you could always find him twirling Lupe across the dance floor.
