We are sad to announce that Marion passed away at the Concordia Hospital on March 10th at the age of 96 years.
Marion grew up in St James and led a happy life there.
Marion was predeceased by her parents, William and Annie May (Griffin) Baird, and her brothers Harold, Arthur and William. She was also predeceased by her husband Peter Hoving and her beloved daughter Elizabeth Janice. Marion is survived by her son-in-law Robert Cielen, her sister Helen Mohan and brother David Baird and his wife Kathy as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
As Marion loved cats, a memorial donation in her name to D’Arcy’s Arc or Craig Street Cats would have pleased her.
