

He was born on July 18, 1952, in Dayton, Ohio, to Earl and Arlene Focht. Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Emma Jane Glander.
Larry was a proud graduate of Belmont High School and Capital University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. While at Capital, he was the president of Sigma Tau Omega fraternity and led his team as quarterback to win the 1970 National Championship. Larry’s professional career spanned over 40 years as a Certified Public Accountant, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
In addition to his career, Larry was passionate about his family. He coached both of his daughters in youth soccer, imparting his love of sports and leadership. Larry was a long-time member of St. Peter/St. Joan of Arc churches, where he participated in the men’s club. His hobbies included golf, traveling, and cooking, but his greatest pride and joy was his family.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Anne; daughters Abbey (Ben) Snelling and Emily (Philip) Jackson; grandchildren Eleanor and Sam Snelling and Charlie, Annie, and Henry Jackson; siblings Earl (Margie) Focht and Janet Focht; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Thursday January 23rd, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Schoedinger Worthington. A private family service will be held.

Larry will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
