Miss you so much Uncle Larry, you always brought a smile to my face whether a joke or tight  bear hug, you were always there. I love you more then you know and miss you so much. When we meet on the other side hopefully not to soon tho, I'm sure the first things I will smile at is you. I promise to babysit, Eleanor, Charlie, Henry, Sam and Annie and be a role model to them as you were to me.

The passing of Larry so suddenly has been difficult to process. 
Larry and I met a few years ago... yes, on the golf course! 
He was part of The Birdie Boys at Safari Golf Club, and if you were ever fortunate to join that group for a round of golf, well, you know it is nothing if not a fantastic time with some great human beings!
Having to miss Larry stopping in the office with his usual smile, his infectious laugh, and the good energy he brought to Safari Golf Club will continue to weigh on all of us, but we will always honor, remember and celebrate our friend Larry, every time we tee it up.

From the entire Safari Golf Club Team we are deeply saddened and shocked to lose one of our family members.  
Larry you were always the fun and responsible one that kept your group of Paul, Donnie and Jim in line, they will be surely lost now.  
Your goal of playing golf every month and the endless suggestion of putting Dyson Air Hand Dryers in the bathrooms will be missed :).  Your presence on Monday Nights will be missed by all our league members and your funny jokes with them.
Finally, I will miss our 1st Tee Talks on Monday Evenings with your usual witty response.

He was an excellent sprinter and a better friend/teammate.  He was also the starting quarterback on the football team, and played guard on the basketball team.  He will be missed.

My wife Ginger and I were very sad to learn of Larry's passing. 
He was a member of our euchre group for years and usually the one to beat, he was a great player. 
I got to know Larry several years ago when he and I were members of the Men's Club at St. Joan of Arc. We had many conversations at our after meeting social events. 
Upon retirement, I also saw Larry every Monday at Safari Golf Club. 
I helped there on Monday mornings and Larry came in for the afternoons and helped with the Monday night league play. 
He was loved by all at Safari and will be missed.
Ginger and I send our condolences to Anne and his family. He will be missed greatly.

I am so sorry and so shocked to learn this news.  I know there are no words that are adequate to console you and your lovely family.  Again, so sorry.  Please know that I love and respect this man for his accomplishments, but especially for this man as a Husband and a Father and as a Grandfather.

Anne, Larry was your partner, your best friend, the person you leaned on, turned to, and shared life with. You loved him deeply and there is no question that he loved you too.
Emily and Abbey, Your dad was so proud of you both and loved you and your families so completely. You can be assured that any conversation with him always included the pride he had in you, your husbands and your children.
Eleanor, Sam, Charlie, Annie and Henry, You have the BEST grandparents ever! They were always smiling from ear to ear whenever they got to talk about you and all of the fun times you shared together. Your grandpa and his famous milkshakes will always be a part of your hearts - just like he will always be inyour mom's and your grandma's hearts.

Dear Anne,
We are heartbroken for you and your beautiful family. We are holding you close in our hearts and prayers. We will miss Larry’s smile as he encouraged us on our walks to Perry Park.

So many fond memories of Larry; Long Island Ice Teas at Rocky’s, Ohio State Games, trip to the Bahamas and more!  He was a great friend and will be missed. I met Larry two years ago at Safari Golf Club. We played many rounds of golf together over the past two years. I will miss  his great sense of humor and positivity. We will all miss him at the golf club. I am so sorry for your loss.

I’ve been trying hard to reconcile this new reality. Larry became an easy choice for a golf partner and even easier choice as a friend. Too many memories to mention… and a few we probably shouldn’t!  I can honestly say that almost all of my time spent with Larry, and the other ‘birdie boys’ at Safari were/are filled with laughter, old fashioned ribbing, lots of birdies (thanks mostly to me!  Haha), but because Larry wrote most of the rules we play by, second chances are given. Even third chances…heck, hit til you’re happy!  Hence, LOTS of birdies.  We will continue to play golf, but that fourth spot could never be filled by anyone like Larry. One of a kind. We’ll honor and remember you with every future birdie made. RIP, Larry.

Larry walked into my life 8 years ago when, as he kiddingly said, his car broke down in front of Safari Golf Club and he got hooked into becoming a volunteer. Larry and I worked together on Monday afternoons since that day. I, along with practically everyone, liked him immediately. It wasn’t long before he and I became good friends. I remember joking with him after I got to know him that he had too much personality to be an accountant (no offense meant to the accountants out there, but that’s just how personable the guy was). Soon we started playing golf together. He had not been very active in golf before becoming a volunteer and it showed.  I’m pretty sure he hit almost every tree on the course during those first couple of years. Then his natural athletic ability started kicking in and Larry began playing some really good golf. Larry and I played in several scrambles and matches together and we presented as a pretty tough team to beat. Pretty soon Larry started coaching me to improve my course attitude. You see, I had what I now view as a terrible course demeanor. Thank you, Larry being so instrumental in inducing change in me. A few years went by as Larry and I golfed together with various people joining us until we settled on a regular foursome, Larry, Jimbo, Paul and me. Larry, Jim and I are within a few years of each other in age and Paul, the club professional among us, is significantly younger. One day not too long ago after he had been golfing with us Paul remarked to the group “you old geezers give me hope for playing golf as I age”. This was perhaps the greatest golf compliment he could have given you. You had risen from basically not playing the game to having a club pro wanting to play like you when he reaches your age and in all in less than ten years. Quite a testament to the world class athlete you were. By now, God has welcomed you into that celestial golf course in the sky and you are busy trying to break par. You will be dearly missed, my friend.

Anne, I am deeply sorry to hear of your loss. My condolences to you and your family. May loving memories help mend your heart. I pray God welcomes him with loving arms into His heavenly kingdom.

I am so saddened to hear of the loss of your precious husband.  I want you to know that I will be praying for you and your family in the days to come .  May you and your family feel the loving arms of God wrapped around you providing you His comfort and His love.

Larry was a wonderful friend and neighbor of the Cory family in Potters Creek.  Larry and Anne were always there for my parents. As my parents aged and ran into problems, Larry was always around to help or just stop by for moral support and share his kindness and love. Larry will be dearly missed.

I will miss my conversations with Larry, who would stop mowing his grass to chat while walking or biking by his house.  As an active member of our civic association, he had a keen interest in making Potters Creek a great place to live, and frequently had a suggestion to help.

Larry is a source of strength to his family because he molded their world with love and devotion.  He was  the patriarch at the family reunions and a friend.  His memory will live on     to those who admired and loved him.

I am so sad to hear about Larry’s passing.
