Roberta “Bobbye” Kline went to heaven on Jan. 11, 2021 at the age of 81. Bobbye was born to Mary and Clayton Moore on June 17, 1939. Bobbye spent most of her life in the Olympia area where she graduated from Olympia High School in 1957. She married Ron Kline on Nov. 2, 1957 and had 2 daughters, Janet and Debbie.
Bobbye worked at many places including Sunset Life Ins., WSECU credit Union, L&I Board of Appeals where she retired from on June 30, 1999 after 13 years of service to the State of Washington.
Bobbye’s hobbies included quilting, reading and bowling where she earned many “high game” trophies during league at Tumwater Lanes. She also was first to help with school parties for her daughters and led “Prims” girls’ group at church. Family was Bobbye’s greatest treasure and she spoiled her kids/grandkids and lit up every time she got to give them a hug. Bobbye’s sense of humor and genuine care for others made this world a better place.
Preceding Bobbye in death: her sister Myra and parents Clayton and Mary. Bobbye leaves behind family including her brother Jim, 2 daughters Janet Lohrengel (Jerry) and Debbie Kitchen (Rick), 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A private family service was held at Mills & Mills in Tumwater.
