Shepherd. Gordon passed away in Roseville California with his wife, JoAnn, by his side.
Gordon lived most of his 91 years of life in Georgetown. He was an earthmoving contractor
and well known in the community not only for his work, but also for his generosity with his
time, equipment, home grown vegetables, and his money. Gordon served in the Army in the
Korean War. He served the community for years on the volunteer fire department and was
Chief of the fire department for 4 years. Gordon was a member of the VFW, Masons, SIRS,
Rotary, Odd Fellows, Native Sons of the Golden West, Auburn A’s Model A Club, Bus Nuts, and
many other organizations. Gordon is survived by his loving wife JoAnn, his daughter Linda
Thomson and her husband Darrow Thomson, and his granddaughter Emily Thomson. He is
also survived by his large extended family of five stepchildren and their spouses, five
grandchildren and their spouses, and 3 great grandchildren! You are welcome to join us as we
