David was born on December 24, 1969 in Atikokan to Gerald and Olga Pederson. He lived in Atikokan all his life, living in the family home on Poplar Avenue. He worked in construction most of his life and worked the last 20 years with B.R. Davidson. He loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing and most of all sitting by the fire with all his buddies. He was a very social person and was always trying to make people happy. He had a warm generous smile and a laugh! A snort that no one will ever forget. His door was always open for everyone.
He leaves behind his sisters Cathy Nault and Raymond St. Jean of Sudbury, Pamela and Richard Lepage of Sudbury and Rhonda and Maurice Ward of Dryden; nieces and nephews Wade Nault and Gwyneth, Joey Nault, Regan and Darryl Mitten, Joshua and Cathy Lepage, Rachelle Ward and Amy Ward and Jesse. He will be missed by many cousins. He was especially close and will be greatly missed by Diane Kirjewski, Blaine Davidson, Norm McQuaker, Brian Hanson, Carport (Eric), Tom Cornell, Shawn DeGagne, Matt Warren, Sean Derkson, Tyson Gareau, Kevin Skrenski, Mark Coulson, Mark Bingham, Tony Machura and many, many more….
David was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Olga.
A celebration of life will be held at the family home on Poplar Avenue on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11 a.m. COVID 19 restrictions will be in place including guests to 10 people at a time, wearing masks and following social distancing practices.
A private interment was held in Little Falls Cemetery.
Cathy, Pamela and Rhonda would like to send a heartfelt Thank You to everyone for the flowers, cards, food and most of all the support in our time of need.
